In 2021, A&C was hired to support the launch of REN, a locally distilled, ultra-premium vodka. Entering a market rich with well-established luxury vodka brands, REN sought to differentiate from the rest.

Challenge
Elevate REN among its competitors and position REN as the number one vodka for modern, sophisticated consumers across the GTA.
Approach
A&C executed a variety of PR tactics to establish REN’s position among vodka drinkers. These included influencer partnerships, curating and gifting media and influencer mailers, product seeding to top-tier event planners, event sponsorships, overseeing social media calendar and strategy, producing on-premise bar cart and tabletop activation offerings, and conducting traditional media relations. To align REN with the local arts and culture community, A&C commissioned a limited-edition gift box by Toronto artist blackpowerbarbie, propelling the brand to achieve a coveted general listing at the LCBO.
Result
A&C exceeded expectations, securing opportunities in top tier outlets and getting REN into the hands of influential Torontonians. REN earned coverage in outlets such as Toronto Star, Toronto Life, The Globe and Mail, and Foodism. To date, we’ve secured over 27 million media and social media impressions.
